WRITING ON THE WALL

Gujarra Ngurnu (two sisters), one of Rumarra (day) and one of Ngurra (night), mimic each other’s movements from the setting sun to the rising moon with the stars above mapping their expansive wings in the night sky that over time creates a ripple effect that changes the seasons on the land below. One cannot ­­­live without the other with a deep connection that bonds their strength as one but also mirrors their vulnerability.

Gujarra Ngurnu means two sisters in Yawuru language.
