During the “Man-gala” – wet season which is Summer for the northwest of Australia from December-March and can be typically monsoonal type weather which will be cloudy and storms with heavy rain to then bright hot sunny days with wild swell, these elements can be very taxing on gear with extreme heat and moisture and at time condensation into the lens and body which the Xh-2 has been a holding up well. Usually, you don’t have a lot of time in these conditions and being able to adjust settings and not be too worried about makes shooting a smooth experience either it be with waves crashing the scene to rain and lightning in the distance with the added bonus of great film simulations in body to create beautiful tone and colour in changing light conditions.
